This event was associated with serious flooding in Lymington, Hampshire where many residential properties were inundated to a depth of up to 4 ft. [1.2 m] (Ruocco et al., 2011). A similar flood depth was seen in parts of Christchurch where waves were reportedly reached 50 ft. [15 m] high. A caravan park was evacuated.
